We are pleased to have been part both as an active participant and sponsor of the 3rd Public Procurement Conference hosted by NOMIKI BIBLIOTHIKI on 15th of December 2023 at Wyndham Grand Athens hotel.
Mr. Gregorios Michailopoulos, Managing Partner of MICHAILOPOULOS & ASSOCIATES LAW FIRM, contributed among prominent participants to insightful discussions on current and debatable issues regarding public procurement.
More specifically, Mr. Michailopoulos participated as a speaker in a panel moderated by Professor Athanasios Tsironas, among the distinguished speakers and colleagues, Ms. Vasiliki Skartsouni, member of H.S.P.P.A., and Mr. Petros Sfikakis.He elaborated on issues related to the application of public procurement rules in co-financed projects, particularly the issues arising during the awarding of co-financed public contract and issues related to the cross-verification of authorities among multiple auditing bodies.
The conference opened with speeches from Mr. Nikolaos Tachiaos, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Ms. Androniki Theotokatou, President of H.S.P.P.A., and the distinguished intervention of the Attorney General at the Court of Justice of the European Union and former President of the Council of State, Mr. Athanasios Rantos.
The event’s success was undoubtedly attributed to its dynamic nature and the lively debates providing an enriching experience for all participants and we are truly proud of being part of it.
