Pinelopi Somaki, LL.M., has an extensive experience on various aspects of commercial law and administrative law, such as banking, contract law and public procurement law and has been the Legal Advisor of domestic and international clients. She focuses on corporate and commercial law. She is involved in advising multinational and domestic corporations on structuring their business in Greece and handles day-to-day and general corporate matters, such as company set ups and transformations, share deals and transfers of business, corporate governance, day-to-day corporate advice and support, AML and in general compliance matters. She is also engaged in commercial agreements and arrangements, such as agency, distribution and commercial lease matters and provides relevant regulatory advice. She has been involved in providing legal services in corporate penal law cases, focusing on special issues related to S.A. deriving from the provisions of Law 4548/2018 and the penal liability of the executives and the representatives of legal entities.

Further to the above, Pinelopi has also served as Legal Advisor to the Regulatory Authority for Railways, where she has gained a remarkable experience in n the realm of Public Law, particularly focusing on Public Finance and Public Procurement. Amongst others, she has been a Special Legal Counsel to the General Secretariat for Social Security and has been involved in refining significant legal frameworks concerning the inclusion of EU Regulations and the improvement of the social security system.
