Biography

Emmanouella Peloponnisiou has extensive experience in the field of public contracts,
especially in the domain of public procurement, as she has been providing legal support to
Managing Authorities and she has also worked as a legal advisor at one of the largest
companies in Greece, that implements the development of the Athens Metro network.
As a result, she possesses in-depth knowledge of the public procurement’s legal framework at
national and European level and she has been involved in PPPs cases. Drafting several court
documents concerning disputes that arise in the field of Public Contracts (Law 4412/2016),
writing legal memos regarding the amendment, termination and performance of public
procurement contracts and advising on compliance issues with national and EU regulations
constitute some of her daily tasks. 
During her tenure as a freelance lawyer and as an associate at a top-tier law firm, she also had
the opportunity to accrue work experience in diverse legal sectors, through contribution to the
closing of large commercial transactions and provision of legal advice on civil law cases.
